Bangkok has plenty of hotels, from luxury properties near the Silom gay district to guesthouses just for gay men. Here's how to sort through them.

Gay Men-Only

    • Babylon Bangkok (1 Dinso Road) — The most famous gay spot in Bangkok. It's a men-only sauna complex, but you can also get a dorm bed or a private room. Stay here and you're right in the middle of things. Guests use the pool, spa, and sauna. Gayout users rate it 4.5/5.
    • BBB Inn (1032/1-5 Thanon Rama IV) — This place has 17 standard and 6 deluxe rooms, plus full hot oil massage services. It feels more like a small guesthouse.

    Luxury Near the Gay Scene

    • W Bangkok (108 North Sathon Road) — A luxury hotel close to Patpong with four restaurants. People say it's LGBTQ+-friendly. Visitors on Gayout give it a 5.0/5.
    • Hotel Muse Bangkok Langsuan (45/4 Sarasin Road) — A boutique hotel with three restaurants. It's the official venue for gCircuit, Thailand's biggest gay party. If you're coming for gCircuit, this is where you should stay.
    • Pullman Bangkok Hotel G (188 Silom Road) — This luxury hotel is on Silom Road, a short walk from Soi 2 and Soi 4. There's a spa.
    • SO Sofitel Bangkok (2 North Sathon Road) — A five-star hotel that people consistently mention as LGBTQ+-welcoming at the high end.

    Location Strategy

    You want to be near the Silom gay bars. Soi 2 and Soi 4 are the main streets, so hotels on Silom Road or in the Sathon area mean you can walk there. The BTS SkyTrain's Sala Daeng station is two minutes from Soi 2, which makes any hotel near a BTS station a good option.
