via Stay22About this place Le Residence
Le Residence is a small hotel in Bangkok's Silom neighborhood that caters to LGBTQ+ travelers, putting them steps from the city's most established gay bars and clubs.
The rooms are cozy, some might say compact, but you’re likely not here to spend much time indoors. Instead, it's the hotel's intimate, friendly vibe and helpful staff that make it a good base. There’s a restaurant on site if you don’t want to go far for a meal.
You’ll find Le Residence at 460/8 Thanon Surawong, an easy walk to the Silom and Patpong gay area. The immediate neighborhood is walkable, though you’ll probably want a taxi or tuk-tuk for anything beyond a few blocks, especially in Bangkok’s heat.
This isn't a big resort. It's a smaller, boutique spot with a more personal feel than the chains. It works if you want a relaxed, community-minded stay and don't need a lot of extra facilities. Think of it as a practical, well-located option for exploring Bangkok’s gay scene.

We stayed at Le Tada during our Christmas vacation and spent nine nights there. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the Victory Monument in Bangkok, making it a convenient location for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable throughout our stay. The housekeeping service was excellent, with the room being cleaned daily, and any requests we made were attended to promptly. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to couples and families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Bangkok.
The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The environment was clean and the rooms were spacious.
The hotel is clean and the service is good, especially the front desk staff who are all lovely. The security system is good. I personally stay here very often and will return many more times. It's worth the price paid, including breakfast which is delicious. The swimming pool is clean and odorless. The location is good, close to many amenities.
The room was good, but the staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping, needs improvement. There was a huge problem with the check-in time; it said 2 PM, but we had to wait almost an hour. The cleaning was also not thorough. (The older female front desk staff member was very unfriendly.) Everyone else was fine.
Cons: Our room didn't face the park; when we opened the window, we could only see the window next door, which was a bit of a shame. The floor in our room wasn't wooden; it was tiled, and it didn't look as high-quality as the photos others shared. It definitely felt like a 3-star hotel. There were some worn-out, old-fashioned spots in the interior. Pros: The shower water pressure was strong, and the hot water was consistent. The air conditioning was relatively quiet. Soundproofing was average, but thankfully there weren't any noisy people nearby late at night. The park has opening hours and is locked at night. It's free, and the interior is very beautiful and clean. The exit from Victory Monument MRT station in the direction of the hotel is connected to a department store, so there are escalators and air conditioning. It's about a 10-minute walk from there, so the location is quite convenient. Free luggage storage is available.
We had a 4-day, 3-night trip to Thailand, and choosing this hotel was fantastic for our group. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were friendly, and it was especially convenient to get to the BTS station. We'll definitely be back soon, thanks Le Tada 🥰
