Bangkok's cruising scene mostly happens indoors, especially in saunas. You can find outdoor cruising, but the indoor spots are so easy to get to and so cheap that most of the action stays there, not in parks or public spaces.
Lumpini Park
Lumpini Park is central Bangkok's biggest park, a short walk from the gay area in Silom. It's had a cruising reputation for decades, particularly in its wooded, darker corners. You'll find more activity there in the evenings and on weekends. Most of the park is just a normal public space for joggers, families, and office workers during the day. The cruising sections are specific parts, not the whole park.
Like any outdoor cruising spot: watch your surroundings. Police do occasionally patrol. Use your usual judgment about safety and discretion.
Indoor venues
Saunas handle most of Bangkok's formal cruising. Babylon, because it's so big and has such extensive grounds, has specific areas and facilities for it. The smaller saunas around Silom are more compact but work similarly. Entry prices are low enough that a sauna is often an easier, more comfortable choice than outdoor options.
People sometimes lump the go-go bars on Soi Twilight into cruising discussions, but it's a different animal. That's commercial entertainment where you pay for company. That's not cruising, even if the end goal might overlap. They aren't the same thing; it helps to understand both before you get there.

Practical notes
Indoor venues have their own rules about phones, what to wear, and how to behave. Most follow the standard sauna format. Read their guidelines before you go in.
For outdoor areas, standard precautions apply. Bangkok is generally safe, but any outdoor cruising spot has some risk. Stick to areas you know something about, and trust your gut.
