I visited the store to look for bags exclusive to Bangkok. There is a store nearby, and I felt like the selection was slightly different, so if you have time, it might be worth shopping around.

Bad staff

Terrible terrible experience. I ordered the Xmas turkey plate. The disk was served cold. No wine by the glass. Chased out by staff at 21.00 unwilling to take a desser order. To be avoided

The store has moved from the second floor to the sixth floor. I didn't eat there, so I can't rate it. If you're looking for souvenirs, I recommend it because they have a good selection.

It seems like it's closed. There's no store and the sign is gone.

Very salty and dry food, worst meal of my trip

Updated September 2025 Dean & DeLuca in Central Embassy. It has moved from the 2nd floor to the 6th floor. This store has always been known for its wide variety and large stock of merchandise, and it still has a decent selection after the move. I used to buy things there often when asked, but I guess the boom has passed. I had an American breakfast for the first time in a while, but one of the fried eggs was smashed. That was disappointing.

Worst coffee ever

Maybe the staff isn’t really bad, but: - It feels like there was no sales training, no greeting or eye contact - Speaks so softly, like flowers would fall from her mouth (ดอกพิกุลจะร่วง, sorry, Thai proverb) - Every transaction misses a “thank you” or “you’re welcome” - Hands back change together with the reminder token in a careless way For me, she looks like a really nice person, but I believe the lack of training is what causes this.
