About this place Sound Up
Sound Up is a dance club on Moon Muang Road Soi 2, on the east side of the old city. It isn't a gay club, but Utopia-Asia and Nomadic Boys both list it as a mixed spot where a good part of Chiang Mai's gay crowd goes to dance, especially on Saturdays from about 9pm to 2am. It stays open later than the gay bars, which mostly close around 1am. Expect a young, mostly Thai crowd. Google rates it 3.8 from about 700 reviews.
