I cannot make this up. Imagine being in your bed at 10 AM and waking up to a bedbug right by your face. Yup. These things infest houses for months/years if you take them home on your luggage or clothes. People spend thousands of dollars to get rid of them, look it up online. I guess what really motivates me to leave a review is not only to prevent others to stay in a place that could cause them the headache that caused me by having to move out right that second, check ALL of my stuff to make sure I wasn't taking them with me, but also how the employees handled this when I went to tell them. They went to check with a lflashlight and then said, "we'll do your laundry for free". Lol. I told them I was leaving that second and of course needed my money back for the last night I had left. They refunded the 7 usd, then said sorry, no laundry now since you won't stay. LOL. They're lucky I'm not escalating this, and need to learn a bit more about customer service :) If they don't care about their guests, hopefully management cares about reviews. This situations can happen anywhere, indeed, but I encourage everyone to make sure to stay in a place that has their back and cares? Avoid taking issues home.
Aside from the heat, there are no problems.
The beds and the sheets are so soft. There is a lot of space and the bathrooms are clean. It was decently priced. Make sure to have cash for a key deposit. 24 hour front desk so if you need an last minute place to stay at a crazy hour of the night it is a good option.
This is my second time staying at this hostel, and I really like it. The environment is very clean, the sleeping space is very large, and the front desk staff can speak a little Chinese now. However, there is one small drawback: there isn't much space in the shower room to hang toiletries. But overall, it's very good and worth recommending!
It's affordable, clean, and in a good location. There's also a small local night market right next door. It felt safe walking around alone as a woman at night.
The room design is great, but it's right next to a nightclub!! Extremely noisy! I couldn't sleep well at night; people who need quiet sleep should be cautious. Also, the air conditioner is very slow, but it's not very loud, which is a plus. The bed is comfortable and clean; I like it.
