About this place Hangout

Hangout is a cosy gay bar located in the heart of Phuket's gay scene, situated within the Paradise Complex. The venue offers a relaxed atmosphere with outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot to unwind, socialise, and take in the surrounding energy without feeling pressured to be constantly on the dance floor. If you're looking for a more chilled-out experience compared to some of the higher-energy clubs in the area, this is a welcoming option. Phuket has established itself as a popular LGBTQ+ destination in Thailand, and the Paradise Complex area is known for clustering several gay-friendly venues together. This makes it convenient for visitors to explore multiple bars and clubs in one neighbourhood. Hangout fits well into this landscape as a spot where you can settle in with a drink, chat with friends, and enjoy people-watching — a quintessential part of the gay bar experience. The outdoor seating area is a particular draw, allowing you to enjoy the tropical climate while remaining part of the social scene. Whether you're travelling solo, with friends, or with a partner, this venue caters to those seeking a more intimate, conversational atmosphere rather than high-volume clubbing. Its proximity to other venues in Paradise Complex means you can easily move between spots if you want to experience different vibes during an evening out.

Everything alright but I feel stupid paying 170 thb (7.26AUD) for a latte..it's more expensive than my near cafe back at home in Sydney. What we're talking about...

Hongyok, Mo, and Ray were really kind and very professional. They gave us tons of advice, and the chef is very knowledgeable. Their professionalism sets them apart from other places. I recommend everyone to come!

Fantastic service. The KR team looked after us every day for breakfast while we were in Kata beach. Coffee and food was excellent.

Amazing restaurant/cafe! Food was great, and service was so good. Everyone was so kind. I have four kids under the age of 15 and they all ate something (picky eaters). They all enjoyed the food. It was a very quiet and calm environment, all of the servers were so nice and assisted our needs. Highly recommend this cafe for breakfast/brunch!

Everything was great, friendly people and delicious food. I just wish the egg bread had been served on a plate because the paper under it was torn.🙏🏻🥰
