Monterey Peninsula Pride begann 2017 mit einer Parade in Seaside. Rund 700 Menschen nahmen teil, und es war die erste Pride-Parade des Countys seit etwa einem Jahrzehnt. Ein Organisator schätzte die Teilnehmerzahl für 2023 später auf 3.000 bis 4.000.
Die Ausgabe 2026 fand am 27. Juni in der Innenstadt von Monterey statt und war kostenlos. Die Parade startete um 11 Uhr an der Polk Street. Ein Festival mit Drag-Künstlern, Musik, Rednern und mehr als 65 lokalen Gruppen folgte bis 15 Uhr auf dem Custom House Plaza. Die Stadt hisste Ende Mai auch die Pride-Flagge am Rathaus.
Das Datum für 2027 war zum Zeitpunkt unserer Überprüfung noch nicht bekannt gegeben worden.
