Monterey Peninsula Pride
About This Event
Monterey Peninsula Pride started in 2017 with a parade in Seaside. About 700 people took part, and it was the county's first Pride parade in roughly a decade. An organiser later put the 2023 turnout at 3,000 to 4,000.
The 2026 edition was on 27 June in downtown Monterey and was free. The parade left Polk Street at 11am. A festival with drag, music, speakers and more than 65 local groups followed at Custom House Plaza until 3pm. The city also raised the Pride flag at City Hall in late May.
The 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked.
