About this place The Epicenter
The Epicenter is a nonprofit youth center at 10 Katherine Avenue in Salinas, about half an hour east of Monterey, for young people roughly 16 to 24. Its OUR GENTE program provides LGBTQ+ support groups, peer connection and referrals, and it takes part in countywide work on LGBTQ+ youth wellbeing.
It is a service for local young people and families, not a visitor venue. Contact it directly for program times.

My kid has been visiting and volunteering at The Epicenter for years. There is always a friendly face to greet you at the door and the feeling of complete acceptance. They are a wonderful resource for lgbtqia+ kids and their parents who are looking for people who just get it. You can't go wrong with The Epicenter!!
