I’d stay anywhere, but here. The room itself was dirty, there was hair on surfaces from previous guest. The fitted sheet didn’t even cover the old mattress completely & was full of hair. We stayed here last minute with no other hotels really available & had reserved 3 nights so we went & bought new sheets, comforter & pillows so we were able to get some sleep as we couldn’t cancel once checking in. Our room smell like an ashtray. The room hasn’t been updated in probably 50 years. All that I could overlook but the dirtiness I just couldn’t get over. I can’t imagine any other motel being this bad so just stay anywhere else.
Warning, I repeat Warning!! This hotel is by far the worst hotel you can stay in. Room 203, the bed sheet had stains. It was so bad we had to go to Ross and purchase pillow cases and sheets for the bed. Let me not forget about the roaches we seen when we turned on the lights. This place reminds me of a horror movie. How this hotel is still in business is alarming. Don't waste your money!!!!!!
1 star is very generous. My dad booked this without checking reviews; a mistake he will not repeat. Walked in to the room and it smelled like BO. Room is grimy, cigarette burn in the bed cover, curtains don’t even fit over the window. You get room temp water at best. They had two thin, cheap towels but they were stained so I asked for a replacement. The guy at the counter mumbled something and then took me to the laundry and gave me two new ones….which still looked dirty and had stains. Oddly, the sheets seemed clean.
-5 star rating. The overall hygiene of the place was disgusting. Hair in the sheets, holes in the comforter, used wipes under the mattress, sticky floors, handprints all over bathroom door, just overall trash. Beyond hygiene/cleanliness, the hot water didn’t work. The manager told us to let it run for a few minutes…well, after running the water for 45 minutes there was still no hot water. The other room we reserved was slightly cleaner but still there were holes in the bedding and everything was sticky to the touch. This second room also had plumbing issues with water not draining from the sink due to a huge clot of hair. The manager came up with a toilet plunger and after multiple “plunges” told us the issue was resolved. Not only did he leave a wet trail from the sink to the door from the nasty wet toilet plunger, when we turned on the sink, again it backed up. After this we checked out, but not before documenting all of the above and more with photos and video. We went to Priceline for a refund and the Hotel manager denied the refund. We will be working with Priceline in the near future along with local authorities to ensure we are fully refunded but that also no one else gets stuck with the trouble this places caused us.
Do NOT stay here. Any positive reviews you see for this hotel (on any platform) are not accurate and I believe were paid for by the owner. The condition of the hotel is a 1 star, not a 3. The facility is in need of repairs and updates. The check-in area was dirty and my husband said the counter was sticky. We requested a non-smoking room and when we walked into our room, it smelled of smoke. When we look up, we could see someone tampered with the smoke alarm on the wall, which staff did not fix. The bed sheets are all made of plastic, which was unsettling to say the least. Worst of all, this hotel has people living in it. The gentlemen next to us was certainly someone who we suspect is normally homeless and who had some mental health issues. He openly starred at our family, watching our every move, even while we sat in the car. He had his TV blasting, which we could here through the wall. He kept the door open to his room as he wandered the hall, which looked like a hoarders mess. It was very concerning and my husband and I chose to leave immediately after checking in. Please, be careful if you choose to stay here. it is not ideal for families.
