Lone Oak Lodge

While pet friendly, there is no grass for you dogs on property. And the AC is loud- like bring ear plugs loud. However, ample parking, great location, clean rooms and a quiet area. Overall, good place to stay, would stay again when in the area- without the dog.

Booked a room for 7 guests through Agoda website(DO NOT USE THEM!). Hotel gave us a room with only two beds. We spent hours on the phone with the third party Agoda and speaking with the front desk with only a tiny compensation. We had to pay out of pocket for a second room and pay almost double the price of the room we were booked for.

Booked last minute stay for my toddler and I as we travelled to see a friend. Room was ample size, two entry doors, a separate Kitchenette w coffee maker and a four person table. Large bathroom. Very large sink. Fridge, no freezer, space to hang clothing. Park right in front of unit. Staff was so nice and we were able to check in early. Just across the road there is a Safeway. Near to attractions and notice others picked up and dropped off by car services. It’s on a main road but I didn’t hear the noise inside. I’ve machine easily visible. I would come and stay again. Wish I had taken photos but I didn’t. Popular spot for divers.

Overall, I had a very positive experience. The hotel is located in a quiet area but remains very convenient; there are fast-food restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations nearby, making it easy to pick up essentials. The room felt recently renovated with a very comfortable design and was impressively spacious! It had all the amenities you’d expect from a budget hotel, and the Wi-Fi was fast. Even checking in after 9:00 PM, the front desk service was excellent. The only minor drawback was that the TV didn't have streaming services—only standard cable channels.

Check in is available starting at 3pm, but me and my partner arrived at 4pm, were given our room, only for said room to actively still be getting cleaned. The cleaning lady made direct eye contact with us, said nothing, and walked back into our room and proceeded to laugh and goof around with the other cleaning lady in there with her. We waited for roughly 15 minutes, thinking maybe they just had a little bit of cleaning left to do and we were okay waiting, but our room showed no sign of being done. We went back to the front desk, explained the situation, and the woman up front was very apologetic and called a different cleaner to verify a different room was ready and available, and the cleaner said yes, so we got moved to that room. Upon moving to the second room, it ALSO wasn’t ready and was still being cleaned - at this point it was 4:30. Five more minutes went by of them panic rushing to finish our room, and we were finally able to move into our space. All of this aside, the blankets provided is quite literally just two top sheets, the pillows had a musty unclean smell, and the rooms were not soundproofed whatsoever despite their website saying so. I understand we’re staying in a space with other people, so I anticipate some noise, but something about the way the rooms are set up amplified any and all sound coming from the rooms next door until late hours at night. Once me and my partner were finally able to get to sleep, the people next door checked out, so the cleaning staff began banging around in the room right beside us at 8:30 or so in the morning. The beds are also extremely stiff. The location may be convenient, but if you value your sleep, I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this place. I don’t plan on staying here again.

The opinion about the facility cannot be positive 0 *. We warn against dishonest behavior that may constitute fraud on the part of the facility. We (family with a child) had a paid overnight stay on February 15-17, 2026 in this facility, which confirmed the reservation before our arrival. We were deprived of the opportunity to stay overnight in the facility we paid for. An employee of the Lone Oak Lodge, without our consent or knowledge, lied that the hotel's reservation website was not working, after our arrival in Lone Oak, told us to fill out the Lone Oak check-in form. In the meantime, several Spanish-speaking people were served and checked in. After filling out the form, the woman serving us told us to follow her to her colleague in another building because, as she claimed, "her computer and system are not working" and the colleague should check us in Lone Oak. We didn't know Lone Oak hotel, so we followed the instructions of the person serving us. The employee assured us that: “my friend's system was working and the facility belonged to the same owner, so there was no problem”. So initially we were convinced that we were registered in Lone Oak. The time was late, it was dark outside, we didn't know the facility where we made the reservation. As it turned out, the employee who registered us in Lone Oak on the Lone Oak form placed us at the Red Roof Inn without our consent or knowledge. Since the standard of the facility did not match the photos of Lone Oak, where we booked accommodation and who confirmed our reservation, we immediately went to the employee who initially served us and requested to be transferred to the place we had purchased. We raised concerns that we would never book a stay at Red Roof, the room is substandard, small, dirty, with traces of blood on the sheets and hair. The bedding was not changed, the room was stinking, dirty and everything was sticky. The employee said that someone would soon change the room to the one we booked or change the bed linen and clean it, and lied again that it was the same facility with the same owner, even though the name was Red Roof and did not correspond to what we booked. We tried to contact the employee again and also wrote directly to Red Roof, for which we have evidence. Nobody came, nobody called, nobody was there. We were left in the middle of the night in a disgusting room and we stayed there only to have a roof over our heads at night in an unknown place, especially since the area did not seem safe and we were with a small child. In our opinion, the employee not only lied and overbooked, but also for racist reasons she booked accommodation for Spanish-speaking people in Lane Oak, leaving us without sleeping in the facility for which we paid -Lane Oak . After asking the facility for an explanation and compensation for this incident, the hotel avoids any response, even though another hotel employee was aware of what happened and told us to officially file a complaint requesting compensation for dishonest behavior and treating us as guests. We travel all over the world and this behavior doesn't happen to us. Here, the standard of service has nothing to do with professionalism and honesty. Even though after being moved to the right room the next day, it was consistent with the photos, clean throughout the entire situation, no reaction from the hotel, no response, ignoring the customer, the rating is negative. Additionally, the property lies that we accepted other accommodation options, which is a complete lie. Someone overbooked and tried to force us to stay overnight in a terrible, dirty, smelly room, claiming that it was the same facility, which is a clear fraud. No one can apologize, take responsibility or compensate for the damage, which should be standard in such a situation and proves the standard of the facility and the approach to the customer. The lowest level of service and lack of professionalism and human honesty and decency!

Rooms are modern, moderately large, and clean. Enough parking - wish I had known to make the reservation directly with them to get a price match and park for free instead of $11. The neighborhood is standard - just a liquor store across the street and a couple restaurants down the street, nothing great right there, but a quick drive to all the attractions.

We were so happy with our stay here. Our room was newly updated and spotlessly clean. The staff here are doing a great job! We will happily return when we’re in the area.

Had a reservation it was cancelled and I was never notified. Arrived to the hotel only to be told that my room had been cancelled with out being notified, due to an accident with some of the rooms.
