Geneva Pride 2026
About This Event
Geneva Pride happens every May or June, an annual parade through the city center. It's Switzerland's most international city's LGBTQ+ event, packed with cultural shows, performances, and political talks. People come from French-speaking Switzerland (Romandy) and nearby France. This gives it a cross-border feel, fitting for a city whose metro area spills into French territory.
The 2021 marriage equality referendum, which passed with 64.1% nationally, gave Geneva Pride a celebratory boost. Since then, it's just gotten bigger. The parade winds through the Old Town, then along the lake. It uses Geneva's setting as a backdrop for one of the French-speaking world's bigger annual Pride events.
