The cleanliness was pristine! If you want a simple bed for the night this place is great. Guests all respected the rules so had a good nights sleep however it is very warm in the capsule (small fan supplied).

I generally don't leave reviews, nor do I like to leave poor reviews. I would rather discuss directly with someone and have a productive conversation. That being said, I brought my concerns directly to the management and was brushed off, so I will leave this review as a warning to others. This was genuinely the worst night of sleep in my life. There is no air conditioning, which is apparently the law in Geneva and beyond the control of management. However, the major issue is ventilation. There is no fan, operable window, etc that allows you to air out your "pod". This means that you are essentially sleeping in a cardboard oven. My pod was genuinely 80 degrees, and I found myself waking up in a constant hot sweat. There were moments in the night that I considered sleeping on a park bench instead of spending any more time in this place. I paid over $70 to stay here in a dorm with 20 other people. This is nearly double the standard rate across europe. The least that I expect is to get a night's sleep. It's been weeks and I am still thinking about it. If management reads this, you can come to me with my money in hand or forget about replying.

Literally the worst experience of my life. These “capsules” have zero ventilation and get insanely hot, even worse at night. The hotel itself has zero ventilation and is insanely hot at night. Do not stay here unless you want to cook all night and get the worst sleep of your life.

Very fun. Capsule hotels are my future as I don't need much more. However, be warned there was no AC inside the capsule just a fan and it reached soaring temperatures.

Hated it so much I left several hours early. I take several issues with this establishment, but to try my best to provide a fair review, I will separate what was out of the hotel's control from what was in its control. I'll start with a pro: the place was immaculately clean. I have no complaints regarding cleanliness. The cons (within the hotel's control): It seems clear to me that this is an office building-turned-hotel that is clearly designed to eek money out of young people while maximizing efficiency at any cost. Case in point: every light outside of the pods is automatic and there is exactly one sensor for each. This means that when you arrive, if your pod is at the end of the hallway, the light will shut off while you are trying to find your way into your pod (and the light switch *inside* the pod is located at the far end of the pod, out of reach). You will have to walk back to the middle of the hallway and then try again. Secondly, in the bathrooms, there is one sensor right near the sliding door that acts as the entrance. While I was showering, the light shut off and there was no way to activate the sensor from the shower, meaning I had to grab my towel, step out of the shower, walk to the entrance to turn it on, then get back in. Furthermore, to my point on this place running cheaply, there is no ventilation system. Geneva has strict laws regarding AC and that is not my issue here—there is not even a fan. There is zero airflow and there are no windows that open (no windows whatsoever in the pods), which makes drawing the curtain across one's pod seem less than ideal—especially given that it was about 31°C outside when I was staying there. In the morning, the temperature felt significantly higher inside as compared to the outside. There's also no way to adjust the water temperature in the showers, so it's not even possible to take a cold shower in the heat. Secondly, regarding security, I have some strong concerns. To enter the building, guests are given a code to a keypad. This must be entered to get through two separate doors. This is the only thing standing between someone outside and everyone in the hotel. There are no doors that lock (aside from bathroom stalls) and no doors that can be barricaded or blocked if someone finds themself needing to employ the Run-Hide-Fight model to protect themselves against a violent intruder. If the window at the front of the building was smashed, there would be no place to hide. For travelers concerned about their safety while sleeping, the only thing between you and the hotel is a curtain. Good luck with that. Lastly, my final complaints relate to what is outside the control of the hotel: noisy guests. Someone starting briefly shouting (not sure if it was in their sleep or if someone else was bothering them somehow) sometime between 5:00AM and 5:30AM, which woke me up and helped me decide to simply shower and leave hours earlier than I had planned. Also, if any person sets an alarm on their phone, all 20 or so people in the hotel can hear it. (Unlike a regular hostel with a maximum of 4, 6, or 8 beds per room, every capsule is located in one small hallway and everyone can hear everything.) Incredible for location, cleanliness and privacy. The bathrooms and bedroom spaces were spotless! You get your own personal locker (no need to bring a key) which is great. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that there was no air con or fans, and it felt extremely hot all night!

Easy to find and within a good walking distance to the main Geneva station. I would say around 10 mins, depending how fast you walk. Received an email just before 2pm with instructions how to enter the building with code. The also sent an email along with the locker number and capsule number too. The online process was easy. They even gave out free public transport ticket which was really handy, as it saved me money to travel. When I entered the building, I instantly felt very hot. The communal space is very spacious and a kettle is provided. There are 30 lockers and 30 capsules. In the ladies room, there are 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms and 3 basins. It was ok. I didn't use the shower room, so I can't comment on it. The locker is easy to use and you can store your stuff but bear in mind it does make beeping noises, which was loud during the night. I opted for the top capsule and not the bottom capsule. This is where it all went wrong! First there's no AC or windows, so you can imagine us being very hot and sweaty. Probably worse than Sauna if I'm honest. I could not sleep at all, and even with free sleeping earplugs you can still hear people snoring or when they are walking around. If someone moved slightly, the lights would switch on which bothered me a lot because that meant I couldn't sleep as the lights would go on when someone makes a move. As it was so hot, I had to open my privacy curtains which was not ideal. A few people also did this and you could see them sleeping. So no privacy was there! Towels are provided, but I would avoid using it! The towels doesn't look clean and still had hairs... I checked out at 3am in the morning, as I only needed somewhere short to stay. I would not recommend this capsule during summer unless you can deal with the heat! It was so hot a few people came out to the communal area. For the price for one night it was around £50. I would personally find a hotel to stay and have a nice peaceful sleep with a nice AC. I would not recommend it sadly :(

I stayed at this "hotel" after a long, hot day in Geneva. The rooms look clean at first glance, but a closer inspection tells a different story — the floors haven't seen soap and water in quite some time. The biggest problem was the heat and airflow. It had been a sweltering day, touching nearly 30°C, and when I arrived at 11pm I was greeted by a wall of warm, stale air. The air felt thick as butter. It only got worse when I climbed into the top bunk. There was zero ventilation in the sleeping pod, and seemingly zero ventilation anywhere in the hotel. No windows that could be opened. No AC. Nothing. Opening the curtains to let in some air turned out to be a mistake too — every time I rolled over in bed, it triggered the light sensors and flooded the room with light bright enough for a TV studio. Lying in my bunk, the temperature must have been around 27°C with what felt like 90% humidity. Thanks to a sleep mask, noise-cancelling headphones, and sheer willpower, I managed to scrape together three or four hours of sleep. I can't imagine what it must be like to stay here in actual summer, when outside temperatures reach 35°C. A colleague of mine couldn't take it any longer and fled at 5am to catch the first train out of Geneva. Next time, I'll spend the extra money and book a real hotel room. Never again.

The concept is original and appealing on paper, but in practice, it's not recommended. The heat in the common room, and even more so in the "capsules," was stifling. Breathing and sleeping are difficult. Some people might feel unwell there. There's no fresh air circulating in the capsule. Several people left as early as 5:00 AM, unable to sleep. If you leave the curtains open for ventilation, you're constantly woken by the room's lights switching on and off, every time someone gets up to go to the bathroom or simply because a curtain moves. This needs urgent improvement. The air conditioning must be functional; otherwise, it turns your stay into a nightmarish sauna. The beeping of the electronic lock system is also very annoying. Note that these aren't real capsules. You can't close them. It's more like a hostel, a large, partitioned dormitory. Otherwise, and this is worth noting: the dormitories and toilets were very clean.

Having now stayed there I can't understand the 5 star reviews. The bathroms are not clean. The capsule have no ventilation, so the longer you are in them the hotter you get. My phone stopped charging because it was "too hot". The lights turn on and off all night (bring a face mask and ear plugs). And as others have highlighted there is no separation of areas and for some odd reason they though the lockers beeping made sense. Also unlike a proper capsule hotel people put their shoes outside the capsule door, so when you are on the bottom all you can smell is feet. I also forgot to add the weird showers, you can't adjust the temperature, So when all you need is a cold shower you can't have one, also the lights turn off if you spend too long in the shower and you can't turn them back on again. So in summary, cheap, safe, central location, but hard to sleep, hot and the floors need a good clean.

This is not a capsule hotel, or a hotel at all. It's a 30 people dormitory. The "capsules" are only closed with a translucent curtain and have 0 noise insulation and no ventilation (and it was very hot and stuffy inside). The entrance is not separated from the capsules at all, so you will hear the beeping of the lockers all night, you will hear the noisy british group discussing their favorite locker numbers at midnight, you will hear some German guy phone the hotel very loudly in the middle of the night because he forgot his locker PIN and you will definitely hear the guy above you snore earshatteringly. I usually have a very solid sleep, but I did not sleep well here. Showers/toilets are clean and work ok, but the shower temperature cannot be regulated. The towels are quite small, if you wash your hair there it won't be enough. I would not recommend this place unless your sleep is bomb-proof.

It's ok for a night or if you're really on a budget, because it's modern and clean. But the concept is not well designed. All the roughly 30 guests sleep in the same "dorm", meaning you'll be woken up for sure as soon as the next guests arrive or when the first ones leave in the morning. There's also no separate locker room, meaning you hear everything directly. Unlike in a real capsule hotel, the bunks are also not sound insulated, so you hear everything. There are free earplugs, but they only help a bit. Update: the night after, my body felt the need to sleep 10h22min, gives you an idea of my sleep the night when I stayed at Green Marmot...

If you are set on staying in Geneva on a budget then this is likely your best choice. Location is great. But what you should know: Check in process is via a QR code at the door. Mine did not work so I had to call and email my passport and then was let in. Not horrible but not the smoothest. I was outside having a phone call when a man was having a lot of issues with it as it was late and he could not enter. I had to help him with a flashlight etc to take a photo and it took him a good 30-40 mins to check in. They seem to give all the short girls the top lockers, we were laughing about this but really luck of the draw is if you get the top bunk (not horrible because I can imagine it is a bit more peaceful at night on top than bottom) but the top locker is a bit too tall if you are short (I am 157 cm / 5'2). It's doable but not ideal. The showers are the part that are confusing. They are one temperature and run at a set time. So there were so many people confused about how to turn them off. They do not turn off and waste a lot of water. Also I don't know if I would stay here in the peak summer months. As there are no fans and the capsules can get hot. Definitely pack accordingly to sleep hot. Small upgrades would make this place a lot better, like a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and tea kettle. And a fix to the showers so you can change the temperature and then them off properly, as well as ensuring a smoother check in process and small fans in the capsules. My advice is to stay here if you have your heart set on staying in Geneva. I did a day trip and went hiking in Annecy and I had wished I had stayed in that region instead. It is cheaper, more beautiful and has more to do than in Geneva. Geneva can be seen in a day trip. However, if you are on a budget and want to really stay in Geneva, then this might be the best option.
