Hôtel de la Cigogne

Wonderful hotel with air-conditioning which is huge for geneva. Steps from old town, Lake Geneva and all sightseeing activities. Amazing staff, terrifically maintained, and very unique. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting geneva!

The staff, particularly the baggage handlers and security personnel, were rude and, quite frankly, disrespectful to me through their behavior. The manager, Didier Homer, will be informed of this situation!

Fantastic experience! I came with a friend, and Mohamed gave us a wonderful welcome. The service and hospitality were excellent and warm. We were treated to the "Princess Treatment," as we always do when we visit.

This is a 5 star hotel in the center of empty Geneva. We have popped in for a drinks. The waiter was very honest to us and told us that to get a smoothie we need to wait for 15 minutes, which was highly appreciated. I don’t want to be always negative towards Geneva, but guys, please I beg you to open your eyes widely and see what is happening outside of Geneva. How come that hotel which claims to have 5 stars ⭐️ has a dirty sofas at the terrace?! How come that Coca Cola and home made cold tea served in a IKEA glass without even small paper base costs more than whole lunch in Sardinian ordinary coffee shop is served in a dirty terrace full of pigeons?! With the money you get you could have at least hire one ☝️ person and clean your terrace. And then you will be complaining that Geneva restaurants are empty?! On the day when the owners stop mocking customers and learn to offer service, their restaurants may be filled with people. It is very sad to know that dirty tables and chairs in five-star restaurants, ripping off customers and a complete lack of any kind of service are becoming the hallmark of Geneva. Shame and disgrace.

Last month on my visit to Geneva I stayed in Hotel de la Cigogne for 4 days. The property is conveniently located in the center of the city. The hotel is lovely with an ‘old world charm meets Swiss luxury’ vibes. My suite was cosy yet spacious with nice interiors. The property, the amenities and service was good. I had a comfortable stay.

The Hotel de la Cigogne is ideally located in the heart of Geneva on a pedestrian square. The welcome upon arrival was warm, professional, and efficient. Our room on the 5th floor was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The restaurant staff offered excellent recommendations that perfectly complemented the high quality of the à la carte dishes. A big thank you to the reception and restaurant teams for their kindness. Our dinner was exquisite, with perfectly flavored dishes. The generous and comprehensive breakfast brought this unforgettable experience to a close.
