La Garçonnière
Some visitors find the bar and cabaret fun, with friendly staff and good music. However, multiple reviews mention issues with payment, including artists not being paid for their work and customers being overcharged or not receiving promised drink credits. There are also complaints about poor customer service, unwelcoming staff, and a general feeling of being ripped off due to high prices for the service offered.

I am very disappointed with my experience at La Garçonnière in Geneva. After a show, the stripper offered me a private show for a private event and charged me €50 on the spot. The day before the appointment, it was canceled due to illness. This can happen, but more than a month later, I still haven't received a refund, despite several follow-ups. Until I get my money back, I will boycott this place with my friends, permanently. This kind of practice is unacceptable and gives a very bad impression of the establishment and its staff. It's a shame, because the bar itself is decent, but this situation leaves a very bitter taste. I do not recommend it.
We came to spend New Year's Eve at this club. The bouncer wanted to help the woman who was handling the cash register. We bought two appetizers that were supposed to be 60 francs total, but he charged me 15 francs extra... very disappointed
The atmosphere and music were quite good, but the reception at the entrance and the cloakroom management could be improved. There was clearly a lack of dedicated staff to streamline customer arrivals: the wait was a bit long and there was a feeling of disorganization. Additional staff at reception or in the cloakroom would make things better.
I knew the cabaret a long time ago; I used to go there often and always had wonderful evenings. I went back after more than 10 years with some colleagues to introduce them to it. I was disappointed by what this cabaret has become. The price is far too high for the service offered inside… the only person who greeted us with a smile was the bouncer at the entrance. The cabaret was practically empty on a Saturday night… we only got two performers on stage who together barely lasted 10 minutes… I unfortunately no longer recommend this establishment…
I worked as an artist for La Garçonnière in December 2024 with a written and signed contract. Almost a year later, part of my payment remains unpaid, despite several follow-up emails and private messages, without any response. This demonstrates very poor communication and a breach of contract. I recommend exercising extreme caution before collaborating.
A complete disappointment on my second visit. I came with colleagues for a leaving party at the beginning of the summer, and it was great: a very warm welcome from a charming young man who was very attentive, suggested a bottle of wine, and took our things. Then, we were invited to choose a table by the bartender, who was also friendly and efficient. Once seated, we were all set for a great evening, and we were! Good music, a great atmosphere, and the shows were fantastic. Everyone had a great time. I enjoyed this experience so much that I wanted to repeat it, but this time with friends, and it was a nightmare. At the entrance, we were "greeted" by a grumpy, uncouth man. We were rushed inside even though it was empty. The show was a disaster... there were only two of them, and the dancer smelled incredibly sweaty... the bartender was sulking... and the overall atmosphere was much worse. The difference between my first and second visits was like night and day. I don't intend to repeat this experience a third time!
Warning: if you're on a tight budget, avoid this place!!! But if you're into cunti cunta 💋 go for it, you'll love it 🤭🤭 (a little wink to the Brazilian nudist 🇧🇷)
