Geneva has two established gay saunas, both worth knowing if you are after a bathhouse rather than a bar.
Bains de l'Est
The best-known gay sauna in the city, near the Eaux-Vives lakefront. Spread over several floors, it combines the full wellness circuit — sauna, hammam and jacuzzi — with cabins and a dark room, and its Wednesday foam nights are a long-running favourite.
Sauna les Avanchets
A more low-key gay-and-bi cruise sauna in the Vernier district on the western edge of Geneva, with a dedicated men-only gay session on Sundays. Easy to reach by tram and a quieter alternative to the central venues.
One more option lies just over the French border: King Sauna in Ambilly (74100), a large, long-established men's sauna a short drive from the city.
