Hotel Fischertor

The rooms were clean. I was pleasantly surprised. I would stay here again anytime.

Excellent location; the Christmas market is about a 10-minute walk away, and the cathedral is about a 5-minute walk. The bus takes about 20 minutes from the train station to the hotel. You can also easily walk to the hotel in about 20 minutes. The rooms are small and a bit dated, but functional. Breakfast is good, very cozy, and has everything you need. A parking garage is available. This hotel is highly recommended for a city break.

Staff very rude. An employee became loud with me on the phone for no reason. When I politely asked him to speak to me in a normal tone, all he replied was, "If I have any complaints, I must contact the manager." I found this behavior unacceptable, as I simply had a question about my booking. I can't comment on the rooms and service on-site, as I subsequently submitted a cancellation.

The price/performance ratio is absolutely top-notch. Anyone wanting to explore Augsburg without any unnecessary frills will find this hotel perfect. Breakfast is very good; you have everything you could want. Three to four types of cold cuts, three to four different cheeses, tea and coffee plus two different juices, three to four different types of rolls, boiled eggs, various jams, honey, hazelnut spread, and even peanut butter. Basically, everything you could want for breakfast. All in all, a highly recommended hotel.

Very fair value for money! Very unassuming from the outside. The room was very clean and renovated. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The location is good. Only a few minutes from the cathedral, but very quiet at night. Parking in the underground garage is very limited, but the owner is happy to provide parking tips. The owner is a real character 😀

Completely satisfied! Very nice and friendly owners! Very central location near Augsburg's city center and restaurants. Generous breakfast. Parking available in the underground garage directly opposite the hotel. Very quiet location! There were four of us, and we would gladly return!
