The Lavender Network

The Lavender Network is Lane County's LGBTQ+ community center, run by the nonprofit HIV Alliance. In February 2026 it opened its first permanent home at 1590 Willamette Street in Eugene, giving the area's queer community a dedicated space for drop-in support, meetings, and events. The center shares its home with partner groups including TransPonder, and the name honors The Lavender Network, an influential Eugene LGBTQ+ magazine published in the 1980s and 1990s. More resource hub than nightlife spot, the center is the best single point of contact for what's happening across Eugene's dispersed queer scene - from support groups and social gatherings to Pride programming.
