D. Hotel Suites & Spa

We booked a suite for 2 nights mid week, for a wedding. Total cost $625. Absolutely disgusting. I would describe it as a run down motel on its last legs. DO NOT STAY HERE. You know, you've come to the wrong place. When the employees have tattoos on there neck. I really don't know where to start, all of the above. I asked to speak with a manager, and got the usual reply. ( he's off until Monday) It was so bad , we cut our stay shore, and left the next day. Complete scam with the room pictures. Bate and switch job. DO NOT STAY HERE. The Manger refused to speak to me over the phone, and would only text me. The pool was unsafe, with multiple missing tiles. Breakfast was a microwave special. Not fit for a homeless person. The grounds of the property has multiple tripping hazards. You know when you've made a serious mistake , when your greeted bye an employee with a tattoo on their neck. The building stinks of pot. The pictures of the rooms look great online, until you enter the room. BATE AND SWITCH. Truckers motel grade at best. I hope this post will expose this run down hotel for the Scam that it truly is. ABSOLUTELY ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE . Please don't thank me for my review, it just adds an insult to my unfortunate mistake of booking a disgusting room at your toilet of a hotel.

Great service, delicious food, and a clean/spacious room!

The hotel is basically a Quality Inn like building but the location and the service provided by the staff is what truly makes it a special place to stay. The rooms are typical hotel rooms with visible wear and tear, specifically the washrooms in the room, needing new caulking around the tub and paint needing a touch up. The toilet in my room when flushed, had a whistle like a tea kettle, so I was lucky to be in room alone because this would have woken my spouse had he been with me. In the four nights I stayed, the shower temperature was lukewarm a few days. I spoke to the front desk on one occasion about it so the next day it was definitely better but the following day it was back to just barely warm…The pool and hot tub were a nice offering at the end of a busy day. All of the staff are extremely professional and helpful. I had two spa treatments while I stayed. One was amazing and worthwhile for the cost, but I added on a foot soak, which was awkward and literally being provided a tub of room temperature water and a fizzy thrown in while I sat alone, until I felt I was done? Very weird, as there was very little interaction and hot water was added from an electric kettle. I guess there is normally champagne provided but since I’m not a drinker I declined. I did get a bottle of water. Since they were trying to make it upscale, a glass of ice water maybe with lemon, might have seemed more fitting. Overall it is a very nice place and the hotel rooms are the only drawback. But the bed is comfortable with lots of pillows. Breakfast in the morning is included with your stay. Some hot stuff, and more to choose from. Something for everyone.

Me and my girlfriend went to stay for the night, i left right after work and wanted to shower when i got there, there was no water pressure in the shower, like the water was dribbling out, not able to take a shower i called the front desk and assured me the manager would be right up, a hour later the manager still hadn’t came up so i went down for the front desk, and asked if they could do anything, he said i could call the manager for a refund, go figure when i called the manager i got no answer, 2 months later and i still haven’t seen my money, i would take your buisness ANYWHERE else

This Hotel was very nice to stop overnight for a little R&R. It was spontaneous. The man that checked me in was very nice. I wasn't going to stay because he quoted me a price that was way too much for my budget. I told him I saw it advertised online for alot less, he look at his pos to see what he could do and gave me a room for the amount I thought I was paying, and he gave me a 20% off coupon for the resturant next door, which was fabulous by the way. My room was clean and inviting. Very comfortable. I did have an issue with the desk chair. I called downstairs to let them know. They asked me if I wanted to change rooms, I just requested another chair and for them to take back the other one. The same guy that helped me check in showed up with a new chair. He wasn't as friendly as he was before. He actually seemed kinda annoyed, but I guess I would be annoyed too If I didn't have the help to go and get me a new chair. The complimentary continental breakfast was wonderful. I will be going back again. I enjoyed staying there very much.

My family had a one-night reservation because our child applied to Smith College and we had scheduled a campus tour. Two days before our check-in date, we learned that our kid was not accepted to the school. Even though the deadline to cancel our hotel reservation for a refund had passed, D. Hotel Suites was gracious about letting us cancel and providing a refund due to the circumstances. I appreciate that spirit of fairness at a time when generosity in our society seems to be in short supply. Thank you D. Hotel Suites & Spa!

I have been going here for years and I am looking forward to many more visits 😊 My most recent visit was so I could have quiet time to play with art. I found the guest book to be another place to collect memories and I look forward to making more entries.
