A recent 2 night stay here for a wedding was very disappointing. Terribly overpriced. Automatic check-in was burdensome and impersonal. On the rare occasion when there was someone behind the desk, they had an attitude. My assigned room had a musty, moldy smell and I was given another room next to a door marked "employees only". I was woken up each morning at 6 by employees preparing housekeeping carts. The AC outlet was out of the wall, bedside reading lights didn't work, the furniture was old. However the TV, bed, and towels were very good. Housekeeping was lacking, My room had not been cleaned until after I returned from the wedding. There were still dirty towels and washcloths in the bathroom, crumbs on the floor near the bed (I didn't eat in the room), no bathroom supplies were replenished. When I went to the desk for a shower cap, I was told there were none left. The parking was good, the complimentary breakfast was good, the Delaney House restaurant service and food were excellent. I completed a survey emailed to me a week ago and I've heard nothing.

Despite the ability to add early check in when I checked in online for 25 dollars it was not actually available. I didn’t pay the fee but was counting on it. Breakfast was ok, room was clean but a little dated.

We stayed here as part of a wedding block. Unfortunately, there was serious mold in the bathroom and air. The breakfast area was extremely cramped every morning, with not enough seating. The surrounding area was nice.

I can’t recall the last time I stayed at a hotel in such poor condition. We were in town for a family event at the Delaney House and stayed in a first floor handicap accessible suite. After checking in, I walked around the room in my bare feet. When I went to put on my shoes, I noticed my feet were dirty. I wiped them with a damp towel, and it came away black. Later that day, we exited toward the back parking lot and saw that the entry mat was covered with dried leaves. I notified the front desk, and the employee said he would pass it along. More than a day later, the mess was still there. The next morning, I attempted to take a shower and discovered there was no hot water. After running the water for 15 minutes, it never got beyond lukewarm. I wasn’t able to shower before our event — and the soap provided was so small it would have made it difficult to get clean. Throughout the property, there were clear signs of deferred maintenance: dirty entrances, unclean windows, and a room that needed a thorough deep cleaning. It seems the hotel relies heavily on guests attending events at the Delaney House and overlooks basic upkeep. Based on this experience, I would look at other lodging options in the area.

Lovely room. Price was amazing for the welcome, comfort and recharge that happened with our one night stay. Highly recommend hotel, along with the restaurant next door. Perfect road trip night experience.
