Hotel Northampton

Enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms. Double bed is a bit small but ok. Staff was friendly and helpful. Can walk to anywhere no problem.

Horrible!!! 2026 Easter brunch is something my family does every year for several years at this location After waiting to be seated for 20 mins with reservations along with the rest of the 12pm long line of reservations because they switched to 3 seating times and didn't give themselves time in-between for clean up and prep So unorganized... Trash left at my table... Getting food that was left there from the seating prior so it had been sitting for at least an hour... You could imagine the taste cold, old, and dry of course they ran out... When there was food it was undercooked do to rushing it out and then it was over cooked for the refil... I asked for a spinach and onion omelette but the man let me know there was no onions... But offered peppers, because those taste the same hahah They set out maybe 15/20 choc moose for about 100 reservations and felt some type of way when we asked for one. After a bit of persuasion we were able to get one for my party of 7 All 5/6 desert options had some form of choc so hope that was your thing and almost all tasted box or store bought oh beside the coconut lemon cake. Cool whip for the whip cream and The syrup was fake the ketchup tasted like a tin can... Some people like that some do not I do not My coffee in carafe was cold... My amazing Waiter switched the old one for a new one and No cream for my coffee... Oh yes and they ran out of plates for about 15mins... Several times and for a length of time food was empty $520 later I think we will take our business elsewhere next year

This is an incredibly cute, quaint, old fashioned inn. Great location to shops, restaurants and Smith College. My husband and I stayed there 3 nights in April. We found the mattress to be torture for our backs, it is like sleeping on a huge cotton ball, with zero support. We had trouble sleeping and walking due to the lack of support in the mattress. Plus there is no sound proofing in the rooms and you can hear every conversation in the hallway from your bed. We asked the front desk staff for a topper for the mattress and they said they did not have one and they would not move us because they said all of the mattresses are the same. While the staff in the restaurant was friendly and food was good the restaurant was extremely understaff and the poor waitress seemed to be doing multiple jobs and was the only server working the breakfast shift. Sadly, we will most likely stay somewhere else when we return to Northampton which is sad because the hotel has so much potential.

Classic hotel, well maintained and pleasant. Very centrally located in the center of town.

This was our second time staying here, it's a beautiful historic hotel. Food and drinks are on point.
