Washington Park Arboretum

The Washington Park Arboretum is a 230-acre living tree museum stretching along Lake Washington, and its quieter trails have a long reputation as a gay cruising area, particularly the wooded sections away from the main paths.

It is genuinely beautiful in every season, from spring blossoms to autumn color, and the Japanese Garden at the south end is worth the small entry fee. As with any public natural area, be aware of your surroundings, stick to open hours, and keep it respectful.
