For the first time of attending the energy was great! The staff that was present was pleasant. The mailing department from what I seen was in orderly manner; i must say it was organized; staff pleasant and respectful. Laundry service was done in proper order. The meal i ate was great!

I only use this place to get my mail because I am homeless and occasionally get a meal here and for the 3 or so years I've gotten my mail here I have not had any issues so if your homeless and need mail sent here I recommend using it. 77 S Washington St Seattle WA 98104 anyone can get mail sent there

I went to Compass Day Center hoping to get some real help during a really difficult time, and I left feeling discouraged and honestly a bit disrespected. I wasn’t able to meet with anyone for actual support, and instead I was mostly told to try other places. Sarah, the case manager, came across polite on the surface, but the interaction didn’t feel genuine or helpful. It felt more like I was being processed and redirected than actually supported. There wasn’t any real effort to assist me beyond basic information, and I left feeling like I wasn’t taken seriously. My interaction with Dillon didn’t feel welcoming either. The overall tone made me feel judged rather than understood, which is tough when you’re already dealing with a lot. From the moment I walked in, the environment at the front desk felt uncomfortable. I felt like I was being looked up and down instead of welcomed. That kind of energy sticks with you. I was also hoping for help with basic needs, including dog food, but there wasn’t anything available. The food they provided was decent, and I appreciate that, but I did notice something that didn’t sit right. People ahead of me were given full to-go plates, but when I asked, they cut the boxes Amin half and said it going to be a bottom trays with no lid. Maybe it wasn’t intentional, but in that moment it felt unfair. Overall, I left without any real help, just directions to go somewhere else. The only positive I can point to is that they allow people to receive packages there. I just wish the experience had felt more genuine, more supportive, and less dismissive.

Never have any resource and and it's almost like if you are not in a wheel chair they look at you like you don't need help
