Budget Flats Brussels
Some visitors found the rooms spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a fridge and microwave, and appreciated the friendly staff and convenient location with nearby bus stops. However, a significant number of guests reported serious issues including mold, bad smells, broken appliances, heating problems, and even bedbugs, with some feeling cheated by unexpected charges.

Accommodation outside the city center. Poorly soundproofed apartments with a lot of noise in the common areas and between the apartments. Construction work was being carried out in the neighboring rooms from 7:00 AM, with workers talking very loudly. The apartment was rather poorly maintained, but the refrigerator and microwave were functional. Bath towels were provided.
I should have read the reviews before booking because there was a lot of truth to them. First of all: reception was only open for one hour in the morning, and despite the advertised two hours, it was only open for one hour when I arrived in the afternoon as well. Indeed, my stay at this hotel was nothing but a bad memory. I had to go to the receptionist's apartment because the power to the outlets—so the microwave, refrigerator, and all my personal devices plugged in—kept tripping. (It was difficult to resume working on the computer each time.) Each time, she reset the power. But the last time, at 12:15 a.m., there was no power at all, and it was too late to get her to reset it. There was food in the refrigerator, and my computer and phone wouldn't charge. BUT THERE'S WORSE. BED BUGS. I killed about ten of them; my arm, my back, my thigh are covered in bites. The itching woke me up around 5 a.m. and I couldn't sleep. It was only later that I saw reviews mentioning it. So this hotel is a bedbug infestation. I left a note at 6:45 a.m. when I left, as I couldn't stay any longer because of these little pests. Despite this note warning them and asking them to call me back, they didn't bother to get in touch, not a word from them, and given the previous reviews on this subject, I understand that this is their policy. I strongly advise against staying here.
Free Parking is across the street. Check in can be contactless if you arrive after 6 (very handy). We spend 2 nights here. First night our second floor smelled like weed. Shower water was very weak. It was very quiet at night, so you can get a nice rest. Overall it’s a good place if you want a good rest. We paid €75 a night.. for the condition everything was in, we think €55-€65 is a better rate.
It's not clean and it smells bad.
When you arrive you are charged more than the price on trip.com (10 euros difference for the room and 40 euros of taxes that weren't mentioned while booking!). Also it is extremely loud, poor isolation and other people shouting and moving furniture in the middle of the night. The best part - nobody cares since the reception works only two hours a day! Avoid!!
