Excellent communication before and during our stay. The apartment is close to the city center and tourist attractions (less than a 20-minute walk). It was very quiet. We appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Yes, the neighborhood is surprising, but it's especially astonishing that the city of Brussels could neglect this part of the city so much. I would describe this family experience as fun and a change of scenery if this environment didn't impact the daily lives of thousands of residents. We will definitely return to Hey-Aparthotel!
I WISH I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING Sadly I did not and have experienced the same situation as others. My partner and I booked a 2 night stay through booking.com on which the Apart hotel had a 'Good' rating. We entered the building to get off the street so we could book new accomodation and then left straight away on the basis we would rather risk loosing all our money than staying there. The area feels very unsafe and we were being watched by men hanging out on the street. They questioned where we were staying on our exit from the property but we just jumped in our taxi and fled. I would strongly recommend against booking the place if you are at all vulnerable or uncomfortable in unsafe environments. I really cannot understand how people are able to write any positive reviews about their stay beyond the fact the rooms themselves are modern and well presented. I guess it's fine if you don't plan on leaving and don't mind the very loud music and noise outside. I have asked for a refund, but as with others this has been refused.
The apartment is cozy and clean. There's a small kitchen available for cooking.
Not a good location, Rooms and service were just Ok.
Great experience and the staff were very helpful!
Borderline Fraudulent, Defamatory, and Disorganized Management Pros: The interior of the room itself was clean and impeccable. Cons: The management service is an absolute (-5 )out of (10). The location is strange, and their business practices are borderline fraudulent, predatory, and abusive. The entire check-in and communication process is chaotic. Despite having my correct name on the official reservation email for Studio 11 , the staff on WhatsApp was completely disorganized and kept calling me by another guest's name ("Sabine") . Before arrival, they force you to complete an €80 credit card pre-authorization. Both their official confirmation email and their assistant manager explicitly stated in writing that this €80 is a temporary hold strictly used to guarantee against physical room damages or breakages. I checked out on time and left the room in completely pristine condition . Instead of returning my money as promised, they weaponized their own administrative mess. Because I had friends briefly drop by to visit me during the day, the hotel fabricated a disgusting, completely baseless, and defamatory accusation claiming I was using the room for "prostitution" just to give themselves a fake reason to steal my €80 deposit . They then used aggressive legal threats to try and intimidate me into not leaving a negative review . Extorting guests, violating your own written contract terms, and hurling toxic, defamatory insults to pocket deposit money is unacceptable. Avoid Hey - Aparthotel Brussels at all costs.
