About this place Macho Man Sauna

Macho Man holds the most convenient address of any gay sauna in Brussels: directly on the Rue du Marché au Charbon, in the centre of the city's gay district. This proximity to the bar scene makes it the natural before-or-after destination for visitors to the neighbourhood, and the sauna is correspondingly well-used on weekend evenings. The facilities include a Finnish dry sauna, Turkish steam room, Jacuzzi, darkrooms, private cabins, a lounge area, and lockers. The clientele reflects the neighbourhood: a mix of local Brussels gay men and international visitors, with a particularly international crowd during Belgian Pride week and around La Démence events. The central location is the sauna's defining advantage — there is no need to cross the city or navigate an unfamiliar neighbourhood, which makes Macho Man the default choice for visitors to Brussels' gay district. Entry prices are standard for Belgian saunas.

We visited Macho Sauna and found the atmosphere calm and straightforward. The space felt clean and well maintained, and the overall environment was relaxed without feeling rushed. It was easy to unwind and enjoy the sauna experience at a comfortable pace. A simple and peaceful option for those looking for a quiet sauna visit in Brussels.

5 floors! We stayed the weekend! So many steps to climb! With two floors it would be enough since there were 14 people there. Although if you are looking for canoeing it is the only place or the bar next door!

The dry sauna is not hot at all! lThe floor is a real ice rink. Stairs everywhere and uncomfortable. The overcrowded hammam of people who have unprotected relationships!! And this on multiple occasions! The individual cabins are empty, apparently the new fashion is to be trespassed in groups without condoms! Very uncomfortable!!!

4 x that I was there now today I didn't know what I was experiencing very very busy dancing everywhere but also saw what I didn't want to see that was ghb immediately reported to staff I left immediately here they have to do something about it by putting control for example secret sauna guests in it I see if I can mean what sauna ok but this really can't I come like a lot to 1 safe place but then you don't have to see 2 x that they are working on ghb do the entrance high and rent if you know that many people are coming more supervision in my day was completely ruined later go see if it happened more now just go home tomorrow

They had the courage to try to impute a massage to me. I hadn't done a massage. So they charged me 9 euros (yes, nine euros) a bottle of water from Coca cola - nothing special. In short, crooks... beware!

It was an excellent stay. At the reception I was served by a beautiful friendly person, who speaks Portuguese. The house has what I most appreciate: hot dry sauna, clean and scented. This one, like the one I know in Berlin, the front wall and its door are glass. The steam sauna is of good size, even with the large flow, and activity, of people was hot in measure and with plenty of steam, no bad odor. I could see a beautiful tall man circulating around the surroundings, I had the impression of being the owner or the manager, finally, someone responsible for the best operation of the establishment. Employees performed cleaning when necessary. In the steam sauna I was able to experience something that I like very much: they applied fragrance, which made the environment more pleasant. The pool is of very good size, I think it has come well to accommodate about 15 people at the same time. I prefer to avoid comparing with the other sauna in the city that I met, yet I say that it cost me 23€ and was a bad experience. In this, the 30€ were totally worth, due to the renovated environment and care with the cleaning. It was also possible to consume fresh water unlimited, without additional cost. Still, I could order an extra dry towel to dry me off at the time of departure, also without additional cost. I can't rate the cabins, and other environments for fun, because I haven't been to them. Reminded me of the other two best experiences I had in European saunas: Berlin (for structure and cleanliness) and Paris (IDM - for the public and good fun). I'd like to have slippers available, but well, you can take yours. It is necessary to pay attention to the hallways in the cabinet rooms because they are narrow. By the establishment 5 Stars (structure, extra towel, water, cleaning, lubes and condoms), by the public I found 3 stars, I appreciate bears and there was hardly any of them.

First time here on a balmy Saturday night. Long hesitated to go here due to the negative reviews, but I experienced the opposite. Hence this review to correct that. Friendly staff, at the entrance & bar. Everything was explained and afterwards also settled correctly. payment can be made with cards and cash. There's also a security guy out there who's kindly running things smoothly. The locker is large enough to store a small sports bag. You get a towel that is more like a loincloth. Brings your own towel and slippers. Everything was clean. In between the steam bath is cleared and fully cleaned also the rest of sauna is maintained in between. Was a lot of people. Very accessible audience. Walking around all kinds of things. All ages and all sizes. I myself am 44 and very fit. Lots of views and attention from young and old. So it's nice. Too bad a few older men were pushy. Jacuzzi is well warm, is also well full. You walk past it to go to the rest of the complex. in that central zone is a nice sauna and steam room. Steam room is quite large, quite dark and is built so that you have to pass close together. That is where most of the action happens. The rest of the sauna was not really used when I was there. Either those spaces were empty or there were a few guys running around, but nothing happened there. Upstairs is a terrace that was previously used as a smoking zone. I thought it was fun, big, clean. Has everything for a pleasant experience.

The more they brush there the dirtier that those pigs make that there. There it is full of drugged-dealers (yes all kinds of drugs you can see there) and strangers that smell around for hours.and yes ...clochards who come to shower them there and come to sleep for the weekend.no a hidden drug case.they even sell poppers and all other prohibited products at the counter. so suspicious case where the police have to do unexpected checks. don't shoot that there is a drugged dead person either.
