Cozy atmosphere, safe, well-equipped playground, very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful quiet surroundings, clean rooms/shower, a no-frills stay where you feel right at home! You can also visit the little café until late in the evening :)

Westerlo was the destination for our first family cycling holiday, and we will definitely be back! We couldn't have stayed in a better place for two nights than the youth hostel: top location, spacious and clean room, and an extremely friendly welcome from Ellie and her team. Thanks to the exceptionally beautiful weather, the terrace was always well-filled with 'locals', meaning that as a tourist you find yourself in a warm atmosphere, but don't have to search for a free table... plenty of room! Various walking and cycling routes start from the youth hostel, and these are further explained on the information boards in front of the hostel. Our three bikes also fit without any problems in the covered bike storage, which was also securely locked. Top location and highly recommended!
