Rarely have I stayed in such a bad hotel. It is old, noisy, dirty, there is mold in the shower, and the breakfast is downright unimaginative.

Stayed here last Saturday, May 1, 2026; this is definitely not recommended. Upon arrival at 8:05 PM, there was no one to be seen. We had to go through a small gate across a courtyard to get inside. Inside the gate, next to a sort of small restaurant, it immediately smelled like sewage. Once inside, there was no one at the reception; we pressed the bell, but no one came. Anyway, we managed to find a key outside using a code. Paper signs were hanging on the wall: room 9, along the bar. So, after a car ride of more than 2.5 hours, we were in the mood for a drink. Unfortunately, everything was dark there too, and no one was present. The room looked completely unappealing compared to the room on the website. The double bed was actually two beds pushed together; the result was that they slid apart. The bathroom was full of mold, with only 3 small towels available. The toilet was also moldy; the ceiling was moldy, and a piece of wood had been nailed over the window. There was also mold everywhere in the corners of the room with the dirty old carpet. Unfortunately, we tried to sleep here anyway, which was impossible due to the noise and the smell from the sort of restaurant located next door. In the morning at 7:15 AM, the breakfast room was still closed, and once again, no one was present to check out. The key was in the Checked the locker and left without seeing a single person. It's a good thing we paid in advance, otherwise we would have left immediately. Consequently, we didn't have breakfast here, even though we had paid for it. All in all, once is enough, never again. One big, dirty, old, unwelcoming mess. Definitely not recommended for frequent visits or going with a larger group.

A very bad experience with the hotel. First of all, the room was not at all as described on the website. Very old and in dire need of renovation. Problems with the toilet—it can always happen, of course—but nothing was done about it. If breakfast wasn't there, we had to call the owner ourselves, and he would come and make it. Problems with the shower faucet were also dismissed. At checkout, we expressed our displeasure to the employee, but the owner wasn't there. After a few days, because we hadn't heard anything, we called him, and he simply told us to send an email. He didn't care that we were leaving a bad review: "If that's what you want to do." Very indifferent and completely unacknowledged towards customers. Stay away because you get absolutely no value for your money. I still have photos of the room.

This was exactly the location I needed. The rooms aren't exactly the newest, but they're clean and a great price for Belgium.
