I used their pickup service for Christmas. Nothing but praise! A friendly welcome at pickup. The cheese and meat platter was so delicious, as was the sourdough bread! We'll definitely be back next year!

What a TOP-NOTCH LOCATION! After visiting several venues for our wedding, we were immediately convinced we had to book with De Casteleer. They stood head and shoulders above the rest thanks to their clear and open communication, their expertise in event planning, the fantastic service provided by their friendly and hospitable staff, and the delicious food. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We received so many compliments from our guests. It was an unforgettable day, and that was absolutely thanks to Bruun and his team.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated my son's christening with about 20 guests. We were very well received, and the service was attentive. The table was beautifully decorated with lovely flowers and matching menus and place cards. The appetizers were very nice. Afterwards, we opted for a buffet with meat and fish cooked on the Ofyr. Super tasty, a very extensive and well-presented buffet. The dessert buffet was the same. We also received a quick response beforehand via email and phone, with clear explanations and a quote. De Casteleer is definitely highly recommended; we are big fans.

We celebrated our wedding at De Casteleer two weeks ago. It was clear from everything that these people are professionals who know what they're doing. Everything was perfectly arranged, everything was discussed, and our maître d'Ann kept us informed of every changeover, so we didn't have to worry about the layout, service, etc. It's also nice that you're invited back a few days before the wedding to meet with the person in charge so you, as the bride and groom, know what to expect. One small point for improvement is the wooden floor on the outdoor terrace. It's in dire need of replacement. We also had them organize our ceremony outdoors, which was meticulously executed. However, if you, as the bride, wanted to show off your dress, which is usually quite long, to the people sitting there, all looking at you, it got caught on the uneven floor. After I managed to loosen it, I was forced to hold my train in my hand, preventing me from fully displaying my dress in its full glory. This was a shame, especially when you offer this as an extra and have a lot of brides and grooms. Many ladies also got their heels stuck in the holes that were there here and there. But once again, the organization itself was excellent, and we would do it all over again.

Beautiful location in rural Kasterlee. Friendly service and a well-maintained garden. Enjoyed the extensive breakfast for the BNI meeting at Pompoenland.

We celebrated our 100th birthday together with our children on Friday. We chose De Casteleer because we'd already been to some fantastic weddings there, because the food bar concept perfectly suited our needs, and because we knew the price was truly in line with the quality we'd experienced there before. The evening itself didn't disappoint. Everything looked beautiful, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. We received compliments from everyone. Previous guests were happy to be back, and those who hadn't been were pleasantly surprised by their new experience. Our event manager, Jan, was friendly, calm, and professional, and made sure we had absolutely nothing to worry about. As control freaks, it's not always easy to hand over everything, but we really felt that was possible here, and that feeling was confirmed. Everything was perfect and even exceeded our expectations. We also stayed overnight in the rooms, which were absolutely perfect, along with family and friends. The staff were also incredibly friendly during the delicious breakfast, and thanks to the beautiful weather, we were able to enjoy breakfast outside, which made for a truly lovely end to our celebration. The bill after the party was also fair and accurate, so we were completely satisfied with the service before, during, and after the event. Thanks for a fantastic evening, and now we can't wait to be invited back by friends or family to celebrate at De Casteleer.
