Hotel Marivaux

Rooms are not like the photos. For a 4-star hotel, it is really run-down. The room was not cleaned properly. There was still dirt on the nightstand and the floor. The tap leaked from the bath all night; not exactly pleasant for sleeping. No minibar. Which is highly recommended in this weather.

I stayed one day in Marivaux hotel. It s total disaster. Rooms are old, dirty and smelly. They gave me room with hairy sheets after they moved me with bigger room with no water pressure also dirty room. Employees are very rude honestly i dont get it how they can even be on booking. Only positive side is location.

Liked how clean and well‑kept the rooms were. Just a small suggestion — a little extra brightness would make them perfect.

Excellent hotel, the bedding was superb. A minor drawback was the bathroom hardware, which wasn't very tight and was difficult to adjust. The curtains also had quite a few stains.

The hotel is located in a very central place in Brussels, very close to the sights and main streets of Brussels. The hotel is slightly dated but looks like some refurbishment is going on. The staff were very friendly and happy to give advice. The room was good and had a view to the street in front. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was clean.

I am staying in this place for a work trip and they literally don't have hot water running Not in the morning and neither in the evening you have to wait naked in the shower and begging for hot water....

Stayed at Hotel Marivaux and overall had a really good experience. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade on arrival, which was a lovely touch and set a great tone for our stay. The room itself was spacious, very clean, and clearly well maintained. It felt comfortable and had everything needed for a city break, with the overall standard of the hotel feeling polished and professional. The only downside was the lack of soundproofing from the windows, as outside noise was quite noticeable during the night and made it a little difficult to sleep at times. Better noise insulation would make a big difference to the overall experience. That said, the friendly welcome, unexpected upgrade, and quality of the room made for an enjoyable stay. We’d definitely consider staying here again when visiting Brussels
