What reviewers say

Visitors appreciate Hotel Albert's good location and helpful staff who sometimes accommodate early check-in. However, many reviewers report significant issues with cleanliness, describing mold, dirty bathrooms, and unpleasant odors, with some also noting noise disturbances and a feeling of insecurity. Very cool bathroom and a big matress. The working crew was polite and welcoming. A bit of noise from the neighbourhood but ended at midnight. Overall a very cool experience

My impression of the hotel is mixed. On the one hand, several aspects left a very good impression: very friendly and helpful staff, a convenient location allowing easy access in all directions, the option to leave luggage at the hotel before check-in time for early arrivals, and excellent cleanliness. On the other hand, the lack of air conditioning and a mini-fridge in the room was a significant drawback. On very hot days, this proved particularly unpleasant, even though we were provided with an additional fan.

I left my wallet at the hotel, and the cleaning lady found it and left it at reception. None of the money inside—around 150 euros, my Turkish lira, and other currencies—was there. They only left 1 cent, as if to mock me! My wallet is just a card holder, and it's very difficult to even take the money out by hand; there's no chance it would fall out. It's an unreliable hotel. I strongly advise against entrusting anything to them. (The text repeats the same information twice.)

Good value for money. The room was clean and serviced daily. Breakfast is available for an additional €15, but we didn't. Parking is available on the street next to the hotel for €2/hour, or covered parking is a 10-minute walk away for €15/day. The area is generally ok; there are three cafes near the hotel, so it can be noisy in the evenings. There are a few shops with an odd selection of products, and in the next block there's one late-night shop that was open after everyone else had closed, but the selection was okay.
