Hotel Villa Ostrava

Very nice quiet place, elegant and yet you feel like you are visiting friends. I know where I will return to in Ostrava!

Unfortunately, the rooms are dirty and very outdated. The sofa in the suite is covered in crumbs. Not to mention the spaces under the sofa and in the nooks and crannies. The taps leak yellow water, which is unsafe for bathing. The bathrooms are a relic of the 1990s. Breakfast is a bit of a mess – it's offered until 10:30, and by 9:00 all that's left are dried-out cold eggs, sausages, and sandwiches. On the plus side, the staff is friendly and dedicated. The building itself is impressive, and its location in a beautiful area by the river promises a high standard, but unfortunately, the reality turned out to be different. I definitely don't recommend it. I have no idea where all these positive reviews come from.

The best are the rooms on the first floor, definitely don't go downstairs near the sauna, the bed creaks, the door won't close, there's no desk for a computer, bad lighting, damp and smelly, the wardrobe can't be used, more like a cellar than a room Breakfast is good

An oasis of peace in a green park only about 15 min. walk from the center. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff. If we ever go to Ostrava again, we will definitely stay there.

I think it was a good hotel in the past. Now, I don't know how the authorities keep the stars of the accommodation facilities, but here everything was old and nothing white was white anymore. Even the bed linen smelled old. I could hardly bear to get into bed and I couldn't sleep all night.
