Tallinn Pride
About This Event
Tallinn Pride is the Estonian capital's Pride march and festival, run by the Estonian LGBT Association (Eesti LGBT Ühing). The first march was in 2004; marchers were attacked in 2006 and 2007, and the march only became regular again from 2017. Every third year Tallinn hosts Baltic Pride, which rotates between Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn; in the other years the city holds its own Tallinn Pride, as on 31 May 2025, when the march ran from Harju street past Town Hall Square to Towers' Square.
Tallinn last hosted Baltic Pride from 1 to 7 June 2026: about 50 events, from films and exhibitions to talks and parties, and a Saturday march on 6 June from the Viru Gates through the Old Town to an open-air concert at Telliskivi Creative City, under the slogan 'Vaikides vaenu vastu ei saa' (Silence won't defeat hate). ERR reported no incidents.
Baltic Pride goes to Riga in 2027. Dates for a 2027 Tallinn Pride had not been announced when we checked in November 2026; the association usually publishes them in spring.
