About this place Fierté Montpellier Pride (Maison des LGBT)

Fierté Montpellier Pride is the association that organises the city's Marche des Fiertés each June. It started in 1995 as LGP Montpellier Languedoc-Roussillon and took its current name in 2015. Its premises, the Maison des LGBT, are at 21 Boulevard Pasteur, north of the Écusson. The association holds open drop-in sessions (permanences conviviales) on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, plus a weekly session for LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, according to its events calendar. After two years with them, I want to say thank you and well done. This small LGBT association is made up of very friendly volunteers who welcome you every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon (plus specific opening hours on other days). But they are also the ones who volunteer to organize Montpellier Pride (and I can tell you, it's a lot of work).
