About this place Madame Arthur

Madame Arthur is a Paris cabaret that opened in 1946 and is one of the oldest drag venues in the city. It occupies 75 bis rue des Martyrs in Pigalle, in the same building as Le Divan du Monde. Since its 2015 relaunch, a resident troupe of drag performers has staged shows that rework French chanson and pop, with a live pianist, in a small room with a stage. After the show the room usually turns into a club night. The crowd is mixed queer and straight, and shows are in French. Book ahead for shows on Friday and Saturday.

First night out with the girls at the cabaret for Pride Day. What a fantastic time! No matter who you are or who you love, this show will resonate with everyone. Between funny, wacky, and moving moments, we left with stars in our eyes. I 100% recommend Madame Arthur! Thank you for this unforgettable evening. PS: Remember to arrive a little early so you can lean on the railing upstairs!

We went to see the show, and that day they played an Adele tribute, and it was absolutely magnificent. We loved it!
