About this place Berghain Club

Berghain, housed in a converted power plant in East Berlin, is a legendary club for electronic music fans and LGBTQ+ clubbers from across Europe. Inside, the original generating hall is now an enormous main room. It's got a dance floor that swallows hundreds and a sound system that pushes techno and house through you all night. If you're looking to really lose yourself in the music, this is where it happens. Upstairs, you'll find Panorama Bar. The vibe's a bit more relaxed, and you can catch a glimpse of the city lights if you need a breather. It’s good to have options: go hard downstairs, or hang back up here. This place pretty much set the standard for Berlin clubbing. You’ll find people here from everywhere, all committed to serious dancing and even more serious DJs. It's a membership club, so check their site for entry rules and opening hours before you show up.

I'm thrilled! I went to Berlin specifically for the first time to visit Berghain. It's really a TEMPLE OF TECHNO, worth the effort to get inside and feel the atmosphere of enjoyment from the sound, being in the heart of techno culture. I was a little stressed, knowing that many people were not allowed in, I had the impression that I was going to an exam🤣 Indeed, at the entrance, according to my observations, more people were refused entry than were allowed in. But the guards seemed nice, cultured, friendly and smiling to me. They asked if I was alone, I nodded - and voila. Next - a "search", they tape up all the phone cameras. Fluent English will simplify the mini-"interrogation". The staff is friendly, the audience too, although there are different subcultures, orientations, identities among those present. Entrance 28€, wardrobe either 2 or 3:50 - I don't remember, all accessories such as a hat, gloves, scarf are folded into a large bag and you have another number for small things so that they don't fly out of the sleeves of your outerwear. You can change clothes near the wardrobe, take something light with you, because it will be hot. Cuba-libre up to 10€, mineral sparkling water 3.50€. It is also advisable to take glasses, because although the lighting is dark, sometimes the spotlights shine not very pleasantly directly on you. On Saturdays, the main format definitely works, which is what I actually went to - Klubnacht, a classic real BH (Berghain). They say, but I didn't check, that on Thursday, Friday many people like the light format of BH - this is Panorama Bar. But the main action takes place from Saturday 23:59 to Monday morning, it's like one continuous process. 07.02.2026 I got inside after waiting in line for 50 minutes. The first 4 hours were space-type music, mostly without rhythm, more depressive in nature. It seemed that everyone was like zombies, many were just wandering around the floors. I didn't like the music on the second dance floor, I stayed on the main one. It's dark here, smoke and other vibrations. The sound is incredible! This is their trick, as far as I understand. Many tracks are not searchable through Shazam, probably author's or very modified. What turned out to be rocking does not convey that depth and atmosphere, the whole trick is in the work of DJs and acoustics! I got a crazy high from the music, which started at approximately 04:00 in the morning. It is impossible to put into words, the body reacts itself, although I only had 2 Cuba-libre cocktails. Worth it! It's definitely worth a visit, wait for the "hell" itself, and you won't regret it!🔥🔥🔥 I'll be back, and not only there😎😈

What more can I say? Blew my mind. Techno is alive and well. 🔥🖤 shout out to all the staff: bouncers, security, cloakroom, bars - everyone was super nice and welcoming.
