About the event

We are experiencing the sharpest attacks on the welfare state and workers' rights in decades. At the same time, billions are being invested in rearmament. Poverty, displacement, sexism and queer hostility, racism and police violence, as well as the consequences of the climate crisis, wars, and the genocide in Palestine shape the everyday lives of many Neukölln residents. But when CDU, SPD and co. rearm, cut, divide, and incite against us – thereby also strengthening the AfD – we must resist! Because change begins when people stand together and fight together – in the workplace, as tenants, or in school strikes. We don't need empty political promises, but a rebellious left, consistently on the side of workplace struggles and protest movements. A left that listens, organizes, and says what's what even in headwinds – in parliament and on the street. Come by, network with neighbors, colleagues, and comrades from Die Linke Neukölln. Together we will make the neighborhood a heart chamber for solidarity and resistance! Program: 2:00 PM–3:30 PM | Neukölln remains rebellious! How does left-wing local politics work from the ground up? Opening panel with Ahmed Abed (District Mayoral Candidate Die Linke Neukölln), Sonja Agerbæk (SF Copenhagen), Christine Braunersreuther (KPÖ Graz) and Jorinde Schulz (Die Linke Neukölln) 4:00 PM–5:30 PM | Neukölln in motion - Strategies and tools for solidarity resistance Workshops including
