Purple Ride Shuttle to the Star Demo 12.9.2026 | Bike Demo (FLINTA* & queer men only)

--- English version below ---On September 12, 2026 – one week before the Berlin election – we will come from all districts in a star formation to the Rotes Rathaus. Seven thematic demo marches will bundle the struggles and demands of Berlin's civil society into a common message: It's time for a change! The demo marches cover the entire spectrum of our engagement – from climate protection, social justice, and mobility transition to anti-racism, feminism, and the protection of democracy. Together, we will set a sign against division and for a solidary, cosmopolitan city. The Purple Ride shuttle is under the motto: It's time for a change – Safe streets for everyone, including FLINTAs! Mobility is political – it reflects patriarchal power relations. Traffic and urban planning determine who can move safely, visibly, and self-determinedly in public space. The mobility realities of FLINTA have long been ignored. A just mobility transition requires a holistic, feminist perspective. We want to move away from car-centered infrastructure towards fair mobility policies that serve everyone – especially cyclists and pedestrians. Sexist harassment and inadequate infrastructure show how urgently protection, visibility, and safety are needed.
