Queer Film Night: Strange River

🌈Queerfilmnacht: Every 3rd Wednesday of the month, you'll find a new, non-heterosexual film from the international festival landscape. 🍿About the film: Catalan-German original version, partly with German subtitles Didac goes on a bike tour along the Danube with his family. During this journey through the river landscape, the boy experiences an encounter that permanently changes his inner life: a mysterious boy suddenly emerges from the water and disappears again as quickly as he appeared. This fleeting, mysterious encounter leaves something behind in Didac that won't let him go and changes his perception of the world around him. His brother Biel notices how the connection between them is changing, how something new, unspoken, comes between them. Their mother Monika observes her son's change and recognizes in what Didac is going through traces and parallels to a previous chapter of her own life, to experiences she herself once had.
