If a guest has a problem, but the basecamp, quite rightly, refuses to help, then unfortunately the guest still has a problem and is left to deal with it alone.

It is a unique experience. The beds deserve attention. The concept is really great. Breakfast is very good. If you want something different for a change, go here. The location isn't exactly top-notch, but once you're inside, you don't notice it at all.

Okay Something different

I was met with a delightful young lady on check in but this all changed in the evening when the racist lady took over. I stood at reception for a full five minutes and she completely blanked me I asked if this was because I was English and she just looked straight at me and smirked and still didn't say a word to me. I later confronted her about her actions and I got the same response. There is no place for racism in society least of all in a hostel environment. The place itself absolutely amazing but one member of staff completely ruins it

Stayed at BaseCamp Bonn – a unique camper hostel – while filming our travel show Different Huts. Instead of traditional rooms, you stay inside creatively designed vintage campers, each with its own character and style. The whole place feels more like an indoor “camping world” than a typical hostel. It’s a fun and affordable experience, with prices ranging roughly from €50 to €87 per night, making it a great option for travelers looking for something different without spending too much. The atmosphere is relaxed and slightly quirky, and the concept itself makes the stay memorable. Not the most luxurious option, but definitely a creative and budget-friendly alternative to standard accommodation.

A fun and convenient starting point for exploring the new Bonn, offering a place to stay you've always wanted to try, complete with good toilet/shower facilities and a decent breakfast. Whether it's a hit is up to you to decide. A real gem!
