20 Years of Crisis Intervention Team Stalking (Stalking-KIT) in Bremen
Stalking behavior touches upon various social and scientific fields. The ubiquitous use of social media platforms gives rise to new forms of stalking and grooming. Science must address and reflect societal problems and draw inspiration from successful projects. Gender studies, psychology, law, and criminology expand on the personal fates of victims to the perspective of society and attempt to provide adequate answers.

For 20 years, the psychological counseling center "Crisis Intervention Team Stalking" (Stalking-KIT) in Bremen, recognized as a European best practice, has been developing answers and solutions of "healing justice" for criminal stalking behavior in close collaboration with the university and psychoanalytic training institutes, with and for those affected. Despite ever-new legal tightening, criminal prosecution alone has not yet been able to provide such solutions.

The event is aimed at employees of the police and judiciary, specialists from the psychological and psychosocial fields, criminologists, and students of psychology and health sciences. Other interested parties from science and practice are also welcome.
