Children, adolescents, and young adults who care for sick or disabled relatives often take on great responsibility in their families, which presents them with particular challenges and can lead to significant burdens.
In this training, we want to raise awareness among professionals about the topic and create a space for exchange to discuss this mostly invisible target group, share existing knowledge and experiences, and thereby expand our own competence in action and reflection. We will be guided by the following questions:
Who are Young Carers and what tasks do they perform? What psychosocial effects can this care responsibility have on life and development? What are the signs and approaches to support?
Case studies from your own practice are welcome here.
