D.O.C.H. Navigating the tension between taking up space
and dealing with limitations.
Participatory poster action (with hydrofeminist content) for GB Open
September 5, 2026 / 5:00 PM
Participants
Julia Blawert · Silvia Nwadiuto Chike · Aline Plötz · Donghee Nam · Christine Pavlic · Maja Mick · Lotta Hench · Vanadis Melchers · D.O.C.H. Collective (Katharina Dacrés, Julia Dambuk, Karin Demuth, Carolin Klapp, Lucia Mendel)
Using the riso printing process, DIN A3 posters with patterns, emotions, and feminist demands will be printed and pasted together with visitors of the GB Open.
The performative poster action invasively addresses hierarchical structures and unwritten laws.
A feminist occupation of urban space.
Execution
We want to push a riso printer to a window on the 2nd floor facing the inner courtyard and "print into the courtyard" directly from there. The riso prints up to 100 pages per minute, printed on uncoated paper with vegetable oil-based ink, so there is no serious environmental impact if individual prints do not land in the courtyard.
Down in the courtyard, the landing prints will be wild-posted directly by visitors and participating artists.
