Open Bereavement Support Group for Teenagers
For teenagers between 12 and 17 years old who have lost someone important, the non-profit organization Trauerland – Center for Grieving Children and Teenagers e. V. offers an open bereavement support group once a month:
The first meeting after the summer holidays will take place on August 18, 2026.
In the bereavement support group, teenagers have the opportunity to meet and connect with other grieving teenagers. The groups start and end together. In between, there is plenty of space and time to talk, listen, ask questions, and have fun together. In addition to content-focused activities for discovering personal sources of strength or preserving memories of the deceased person, there is always the possibility for group activities such as cooking, playing foosball, or playing games. Many things are allowed, nothing is mandatory. The offer is designed so that in addition to the (creative) activities on the topics, there is enough time for exchange among participants.

The monthly meetings take place in the rooms of the Löwenherz-Akademie, Außer der Schleifmühle 46, 28203 Bremen, on a Tuesday afternoon from 4:30 PM to 7 PM.
