When Women Dance - Rituals of Remembrance

Women / Lesbian
Tuesday, 18 August 2026 · 18:30 – 20:30 frauenseiten.bremen.de, Bremen, Germany

About the event

When Women Dance opens a space where empowerment arises from the dance dialogue between body, earth, and community. A space for remembering, exploring, and retelling what it means today to be a young woman, a woman, and a dancer in this world. Through contemporary dance and collective creative practice, we listen to the ancestral knowledge that resides in our bodies and has been woven through generations.

How do I belong in a world that is always shifting, changing, and becoming?

How and who can I be in a world that is constantly changing, transforming, and becoming?

Our gathering is a remembrance of our forgotten ancestral traces – a journey to reclaim our deep belonging to the earth and the wisdom of our bodies. It is a poetic storytelling of our raw, creative, and rhythmic forces, our subtle connections, and our embodied knowledge, woven through our dancing bodies.
This offer is for all women and all people who identify as women.
