Courtyard by Marriott Bremen

Centrally located hotel, very close to the main train station yet not noisy. High-quality furnishings, but somewhat dated. The receptionist was very friendly, but had to spend about 10 minutes calming down a previous guest on the phone whose bill had apparently been charged twice on their credit card – or rather, on two different cards. Initially, I thought: Great that the customer didn't end up in a call center, but directly at the hotel. In the end, I felt sorry for the receptionist who had to manage both the phone and the reception desk on her own. Check-in afterward was very friendly and professional – couldn't have been better. Despite the hefty price, there wasn't even a bottle of water included in the room. Ultimately, you're left with the feeling that this hotel is being run differently than originally intended: a chic building, but with shortcomings in the details. Great staff, but understaffed. Parking in front of the train station, however, is an extra charge.

Nice room with a comfortable bed, breakfast with a good selection and fresh fried eggs or omelette available on request, good location near the train station, the price is reasonable.

10 points for the location: train station, concerts at the Bürgerweide, events at the convention center, or shopping downtown—everything is within easy walking distance. The room is sufficiently spacious, with good soundproofing, ample storage space in the bathroom, and plenty of closet space. The reception staff is professional and friendly, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, clean, spacious, great entrance area, friendly, courteous.

I had an absolutely horrible experience at this hotel. The house keeping came into my room during my stay and threw away all my work receipts and left the drains unplugged, the room was a mess. I asked for compensation for one night of my stay and they just wanted to offer points. I don’t want the points, I want reimbursement for the receipts that were lost. They touched my personal belongings! Also, my lights were no longer working so someone from the front desk had to come take a look and their resolution wasn’t to fix it, but to add additional cards into the light switch to temp fix it. They did not offer me a single thing for the other issues in the room including my work receipts being thrown away. There is absolutely no customer service there as well as emailing customer care Additionally, my co-worker had to be moved out of their room due to a loud awful screeching noise in the middle of the night (1am). Imagine traveling from a long distance and being woken up from sleep in the middle of the night. Truly unpleasant experience, I will never stay at this hotel again or Marriott hotels for that matter.

A bit dated, some areas are still under construction. Solid service.
