Prize by Radisson, Bremen City

On the first day, I brought my guests from Saudi Arabia to the hotel to discuss the distribution rights for some products manufactured in Egypt. When I dropped them off, the receptionist was drunk. She entered the wrong names twice during registration. While two names were being registered, we had to wait at reception for almost an hour. There was also someone behind us whose origin we didn't know, and he insulted us because he, too, had to wait so long. We repeatedly asked the receptionist to please stop talking and finish registering the guests quickly so my guests could rest, but because she was drunk, we simply couldn't make ourselves understood. It was a bad night. Anyway, when I went to see my guests in the morning, there was new staff. Everyone was polite, friendly, and smiling. I thank the staff for the day. I'm not writing this to criticize the hotel. I just hope the receptionist doesn't drink alcohol while working next time. Nevertheless, it is a very beautiful and magnificent hotel.

Simply awful, they wouldn't let me check in. They don't accept cash. I had €1000 in my wallet and they wouldn't let me check in, telling me, "Then we can't check you in." That was it, no solution offered, nothing more than to go to a competitor and book a room there... ridiculous... How backward can you be? Absolutely unacceptable... first and last time I'll ever book there... Maybe they should reconsider their staff if they're not willing to entrust them with cash...

The location is perfect, the room is also perfect except for the bathroom, which is a bit outdated, hence the 4 stars. It's very clean. But you simply don't have enough staff. It's unacceptable that you have to wait at least 10 minutes to be served. I just wanted to get my suitcase from the luggage room and had to wait almost 3 hours because every time I came down it was packed. Waiting at least 10-15 minutes is a problem because there's only one person working there. If it's going to be this expensive, then please provide more staff and faster service, because, as I've noticed, 80% of guests are business travelers like myself, and they're simply in a hurry. It's unacceptable.

A pleasant hotel from which you can easily visit Bremen on foot.

For a short trip to Bremen to see a musical, we booked a weekend stay at the Prize by Radisson. The hotel is located near the main train station, making the city center easily reachable on foot in 15-20 minutes. You can stop directly in front of the hotel to unload your luggage. For those driving, it's worth booking a parking space in the hotel's own parking lot, which you can park in immediately after check-in. Check-in is quick and easy. Payment is cashless only. The room was adequate, however, we missed having a wardrobe or shelves for storing our clothes. Our suitcases had to be placed on the luggage rack to access our clothes when needed. The room, including the bathroom, was clean. Everything is decorated in a 1960s style. The staff was very friendly, polite, and attentive (although I'm not particularly fond of the informal "du" form of address). Any questions that arose were answered promptly. Even the kitchen staff, who cleared our plates, were always friendly. In summary, we highly recommend this hotel. The room was adequate, however, we missed having a wardrobe or shelves for storing our clothes. I'm curious to see if I can book a Prize by Radisson on my next city break and if the positive experience will be confirmed in other cities as well. In any case, I'll book here again on my next visit to Bremen. Thank you.
