About the event

Challenge for urban acrobats aged 16 and over Parkour is the name for a particularly creative form of movement technique. The FLINTA* training invites all women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, agender, and asexual people to get a taste of parkour sport together, explore and expand existing skills. The goal in parkour is to get from point A to point B in urban space as efficiently as possible using only the abilities of your own body. In the media, traceurs (parkour runners) are often associated with spectacular jumps at dizzying heights. However, parkour is not about recklessness, but about realistic risk assessment and absolute control of one's own body. It's about overcoming obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. Training sessions for various groups and with different focuses are regularly offered on the approximately 600 m2 publicly accessible outdoor area on the grounds of the coking plant. An overview of the training sessions can be found here.
