Gay Saunas in Freiburg
Freiburg has two gay saunas, both men-only, giving the city a proper bathhouse scene despite its modest size.
RundO Sauna Club
The RundO Sauna Club (Ziegelhofstraße 230, in the Landwasser district) is the successor to the long-running RG1. It offers a dry sauna, steam room, whirlpool, private cabins and cruising areas, plus a bar and lounge. It's the larger and better-known of the two.
Thermos Club
The Thermos Club (Lehener Straße 21, in the Stühlinger/Lehen area) has been running since 1977, making it one of the oldest gay establishments in Freiburg. It's a more intimate bathhouse with sauna, steam, cabins and cruising areas.
Both saunas are within easy reach of the city centre. For opening hours and theme nights, check each venue's website before you go, as schedules can change seasonally.
